Nexrosta sets two kinds of cookies: one that keeps you signed in, and one that remembers whether you prefer light or dark mode. That is the whole list. There are no advertising cookies and no cross-site tracking, so there is no cookie consent banner to click through.
Please note: Nexrosta is a demonstration application. This document is a template and must be reviewed by qualified legal counsel before any production use.
1. What cookies are
A cookie is a small piece of text a website asks your browser to store and send back on later visits. Cookies can be used well — keeping you signed in — or badly, following you around the web. This policy lists exactly what Nexrosta uses them for.
2. The cookies we set
- Session cookie — set when you sign in, so you stay signed in as you move between pages. It is essential: the app cannot work without it. It is removed when you sign out or when the session expires.
- Theme preference — remembers whether you chose light or dark mode, so the site does not flash the wrong theme on your next visit. It contains that choice and nothing else.
3. What we do not set
No third-party advertising cookies. No cross-site tracking. No cookies that follow you to other websites, and no pixels or identifiers from advertising networks. Because we set only essential and preference cookies, we do not show a cookie consent banner — there is nothing optional to consent to.
4. How to clear cookies
Every major browser lets you view and delete cookies, usually under Settings → Privacy (in Safari, Preferences → Privacy → Manage Website Data). You can delete cookies for this site alone or clear them all, and you can set your browser to block cookies entirely. If you delete or block Nexrosta's cookies, you will be signed out and the site will fall back to your device's theme — nothing else is affected.
