About Nexrosta
The shift you roster is the shift you claim.
Nexrosta is NDIS rostering software built in Australia. It exists to remove one specific kind of work: typing the same shift into a roster, a timesheet and a claim, and reconciling the three when they disagree.
Why it exists
Providers were typing the same shift three times.
Each copy is a chance to diverge. When they diverge, a worker chases pay, a claim comes back rejected, or an auditor asks a question the records cannot answer.
The roster
A coordinator plans the shift — participant, worker, times, support item.
The timesheet
The same details again, typed from memory or from a paper note, days later.
The claim
The same details a third time, into a spreadsheet or portal, hoping all three copies still agree.
Nexrosta joins the three. A shift is entered once, checked before it saves, clocked against on a phone, and turned into the invoice, the NDIA payment request and the audit record — all pointing back at the same entry. What you scheduled is what gets worked, paid, claimed and evidenced.
What we believe
Positions we have taken on purpose.
These are product decisions, not slogans. Each one is visible in the software.
The audit log is append-only. Even for us.
Nothing in the log can be edited or deleted — not by an owner, and not by Nexrosta. An audit trail its own administrator can rewrite is not evidence, so we built one nobody can.
GPS review is review, not surveillance.
A clock-in outside the accuracy radius is flagged amber for a manager to look at — never auto-rejected, and never used to withhold pay. Support happens in the community, and the software should expect that.
The free tier is a tier, not a countdown.
Free forever for up to 5 users, with every module. A 2-person provider carries the same compliance obligations as a 200-person one, so it gets the same product — no trial clock, no feature held back.
Participant data stays in Australia.
Nexrosta is hosted in Australia. Records about participants and the people who support them do not leave the country to be stored somewhere cheaper.
Built in Australia
One country, one scheme, one award.
Nexrosta is not a generic rostering tool with an NDIS skin. It is built only for Australian NDIS providers, which is why the structures of the scheme are the structures of the product.
SCHADS-aware
Rosters and timesheets understand the SCHADS Award's penalty windows and break rules, so what a shift costs is visible when it is rostered — not discovered at payroll.
Structured like the Pricing Arrangements
A date-effective price book mirrors how the NDIS Pricing Arrangements actually change, and claims leave as NDIA bulk payment request files — not a format you convert by hand.
Evidence for the Practice Standards
Incidents with reportable classification, an eMAR, document expiry and the append-only log — the records an audit against the NDIS Practice Standards asks to see.
- SIL ratio rostering splits a shared shift across residents' plans to the cent
- Fourteen conflict checks run before any shift saves
- Exports to CSV, Xero, MYOB and QuickBooks in every tier — your data is never held hostage
